All packages listed here include an extra bonus - arrive early and sleep late with our noon check-in and check-out times!

Four-day weekend, five-day, and full week packages are available for most of these Seasonal Specials and apply to the specific date ranges noted below. Our Extended Visit Program applies for certain packages. Accommodations for additional guests may be available so make your needs known at time of booking. Despite winter’s chill, love warms the air and the heart this Valentine’s weekend. What better way to show that very special person you care than with a romantic weekend on an island off the coast of Maine? Celebrate your way – unwind and relax together or participate in winter activities on the island – your choice. Along with Cupid, a chilled bottle of champagne, chocolates and flowers await you at Sunnyside.
 

We in New England all need a change of pace about this time of year! Just in time for school vacation, Sunnyside opens its doors to winter fun for the entire family. If you’re into cross country skiing, skating or ice hockey, snowmobiling, sledding, snowshoeing, snowball fights, or winter hiking, you’ll find an abundance of opportunities to enjoy the island. Should staying near the home fires be more to your liking, then the well stocked island library with video and game rentals, indoor activities for all ages at the Rec Center, and weekly box office smash-hit movies shown at the Community Center may be your ideal. Public suppers and other events are often scheduled on vacation weekends as well. In addition to satellite TV with HBO and other premium channels, you’ll find a variety of puzzles, board games, and brain teasers right at Sunnyside.
 

The island transforms into its colorful fall splendor as the days shorten and temperatures begin to cool. The annual migration of monarchs, Canada Geese, plovers, and other wildlife also gets underway, creating the ideal setting for the nature enthusiast. Outdoor lovers will find nature trails and preserved lands for hiking and biking and lots of opportunities for picture taking.
 

Although hunters will find some of the biggest deer in upstate Maine, the most deer are found in the southern and central areas of the state. With Sunnyside’s 12 wooded acres abutting another 50 acres of alder, spruce, and fir along with a healthy deer population on the island, you won’t need to travel long or far to get your sights on one of these elusive creatures. Combine proximity and opportunity with a weekend or full week of camaraderie and you’ve got the recipe for an unforgettable experience. Please note that deer hunting on the island during this week is by shotgun only.
